The second feature is that there is one airport for the whole country - in Tirana, in the north of the country, and the best beach places are just in the south, you will be stunned until you get on broken roads. If you are interested in a beach holiday, then Vlora and the surroundings of Saranda are better, the villages of Ksamil and Dhermi are especially beautiful. And I will argue with musja7, there are sandy beaches in Vlora. For my taste, Vlora and neighboring Orikum have the most pleasant sea, because it is a bay, there are no waves, but Durres and Saranda are not protected from waves, the water is rough and dirty because of this.

We bought plane tickets in Feeria (because they were not available for sale), but we booked the hotel ourselves, such as we wanted. Fly for about two hours. Arrive in Tirana. We were in Vlora. Of course, I don’t remember the exact price, I remember only on mussels)) I love them very much, so I remember the price - 500 lek. Portions are always huge! The food is mostly Italian-pizza, pasta, all kinds of seafood, their Albanian Greek type salad..risotto. steaks. many national dishes.. and so on. Delicious beer. Dollars are almost never accepted anywhere, but there are exchange offices. And you can always change them. But you can change euros everywhere, even in a small shop.

And if you know Italian, this will be a big plus, since they also know it)). There are hotels and 5 stars, but what's the point in them if there are so many interesting things around??!
