Summer in Zell am See is great! The mountains are emerald green. The lake completely replaces the sea. You can swim, fish, engage in active sports or just lazily sunbathe. It is quite elementary to get to Kaprun, see the castle and an exhibition of rare cars (it is in the basement of one of the hotels. There are 300 cars!) You can go the other way - in Saalbach. And if you really want to - to Bad Gastein and Badhofgastein - about an hour's journey by bus. Within our major cities, these distances are quite acceptable, we sometimes travel further on business! I recommend the Grand Hotel. There, in addition to all amenities, there are such advantages: it is located directly on the lake, bicycles are available for use, and it has its own lift! Climbing the mountains is a must.
