Share your impressions about Switzerland. How much money do you need to carry
I liked the Hungary-Austria-Switzerland bus tour for 8 days, but this is a birthday present for a very dear person. Please describe everything in detail, and especially how much money you need to have enough for excursions, food, and gifts. Thank you

Yes, and depending on what gifts you are going to buy. Souvenirs are expensive, Swiss watches are even more expensive. Cheese is cool and inexpensive compared to our prices for it. Be sure to buy Emmental and Gruyère, Camembert is the usual one, like everywhere else. Check the cost of excursions with the operator through which you are traveling, they usually have everything on their website.
And what kind of tour for 8 days - air? Because if the bus, then spend all the time on the road. And do not mess with sharashkin offices, especially if it is a gift, trust trusted tour operators.

As for excursions - the cost of additional excursions not included in the cost of excursions should be indicated in the tour program.
Everyone has their own standards for food and gifts. The standard advice on this for a bus tour is to take the same amount of money with you as the tour costs.
I advise you to take part of the money in cash, part on the card. The link below contains my review of a tour to Switzerland and some prices. I will add one more thing - I ate breakfast at the hotel and then beer / sausage cheese. In Switzerland, in a supermarket, cheese cost from 11 francs per kilogram, beer from 0.75 to 3 and even 7 francs (different brands, of course). I don't remember the sausage anymore :(
A basket of strawberries (half a kilo) about three francs.
In large shopping centers (Koop and Migros) there are fast food restaurants, but I was not interested in prices there.
In Austria, we ate at the Rozhenberger chain. A portion of schnitzel + a medium plate of fresh vegetables + 0.5 beer cost about 30 euros. In this network, by the way, if you take a meat dish, then you can put rice, stewed vegetables, etc. as a side dish on a plate with meat. - This is included in the cost of the meat dish.
As a rule, the bus tour guide tells you where to eat relatively inexpensively.

saving in Switzerland is difficult, and the country is not for economy tours. minimum 100 euros per person per day (not including accommodation and travel)

For a bus tour, 100 euros a day seems like a lot. But again, everyone has their own rules. My bus tour was 12 days. In Switzerland there were 4 nights (almost 5 full days) + Italy + Austria + Germany + Czech Republic for 0.5-1-1.5-2 days, but still ...
So, including electives, I spent about 800 euros on the tour. My biggest purchase is a Swiss watch for 290 euros.
