We were at the end of February-beginning of March, the weather was excellent - plus 10-15, in Kyiv then it was minus 18. There are a lot of interesting things in Prague - St. Vitus Cathedral, and Hradcany, and Charles Bridge, and the Orloi clock on the central square , the Cathedral of St. Virgin Mary near Tyn, also the Jewish quarter, the zoo is also amazing. Plus, there is excellent shopping in Prague, there is a Fashion Arena Outlet on the outskirts, there are branded items at good discounts. In general, in Prague you can watch everything endlessly. As far as the weather is concerned, there are no guarantees.

We were several times, and a week, and several times for two days, the money is purely individual, we spent a lot, taking into account shopping. But in general, Prague is not very expensive.

Look for the Henrietta hotel, there are four metro flights to the center, the Kobylisy station. From the station to the boarding house three or four minutes on foot. The area is nondescript, but the prices are divine, the rooms are decent.
Booked two years ago through boking.com.

We were in Prague for St. Valentine's Day 4 years ago. There was a lot of snow, but not cold. The tour was by bus. Near Dresden, we got stuck for a while in snowdrifts. A little worried, but everything worked out. Check out the Central Hotel or the Ibis Old Town. They are near the Powder Tower. Very convenient for excursions if you have an air tour. And you will not be tied to transport because hotels in the center.

Prague is good at any time of the year, and if you're lucky with the weather, the main thing is to dress correctly - warm waterproof shoes without heels, a windproof insulated jacket are required at this time.
If you are traveling on your own, you can choose a hotel closer to the metro or tram / bus stops (transport runs on schedule), if on a tour package, then it is better closer to the collection point for excursions. in Prague prices for hotels and apartments in February with a 30% discount. In restaurants, prices are usually cheap.

If you want to live at home, in an apartment with all amenities, then I highly recommend the STOP-City agency. We went with the whole family, 8 people. We chose a 3-room apartment on the site, a 5-minute walk from Vaslavskaya Square. The guys speak Russian, they even gave a confirmation for a visa. Everything is very prompt. So we did not overpay any travel agencies. They did everything themselves. The apartment is super. All as in the photo. Agree, now you rarely find this in hotels. It's off season, so maybe they'll give you a discount. Good luck!
