The meeting point with the guide is ALWAYS appointed at the monument - Wenceslas on horseback on Wenceslas Square. He is alone there! Right next to him there is an exit from the metro station MUSEUM. If you live somewhere near the metro, there are no problems at all, you get to MUSEUM, go to the surface and you are there. If your hotel is not in the center, then you will be told a hundred times on the way from the airport which buses go to the metro and they will give you a map. Tickets are usually sold at the hotel or at stops at kiosks. Prague is a very small town, on the first day at 11 pm we left the bus in the wrong direction from the hotel and almost got lost)) and so we wandered at night, asking passers-by for directions, by the way, a lot of Russians walk at night)) everyone was happy to explain the way to us) And remember, you will not go on excursions alone, be sure someone from your hotel will also travel with you :) good luck and do not be afraid)

I went to the sites of tour operators, a lot of offers, and you start counting - your head is spinning, there are so many pitfalls !!! Either the site is incomprehensible, or the operator believes that she herself should know everything ... What is the cheapest way to get there: railway or air?

You can get to the city center by tram (stop "Wenceslas square" or "Wenceslas name"). People over 40 mostly speak Russian, young people speak English. =) In addition, your tour operator should give you a map of PRAGUE. How many times I go, they always gave us.
And further. Consider the option of a tour from Ukraine. Ideally from Lviv (less to go by bus), but you can also from Kyiv.
