Make a visa, book a hotel, decide on the type of transport, buy tickets back and forth, stock up on maps, guidebooks and go!

You book a hotel on the Internet (you get confirmation from the hotel - this is for a visa), buy railway tickets (either air or bus) and with all this go to the consulate and apply for a visa for the number of days for which the hotel is booked and tickets are purchased . Well, then, respectively, go to the Czech Republic! Good luck!

I don’t advise to go for a couple of days - Prague is a fabulous city, and to see it, at least a week is needed.
and organizing something yourself is an extra red tape - because of it, the sights will not be able to seem beautiful. so, it's better to go with a travel agency, and then decide whether to go for a walk or with a group.
good luck and hello to my beloved city!!!

Completely agree with the previous author. You will regret that you went only for the weekend, this is catastrophically small! And a hotel, by the way, of any category, even the cheapest one, will cost you dearly, much more than with a group. Yes! and more red tape at the embassy. Why You Need It? Prague is such an extraordinary and magical city that before you leave, you will be thinking about how to get back there. She won't let go! I know this for sure ... Good luck to you!

I also do not advise you to go for two days, you will only be upset and regret the waste. It is more rational to go to a visa-free country for the weekend. Arrived and left without the hassle and red tape for registration. Good luck

I traveled as an independent traveller. Cool and cheaper. Better by plane. Almost the same money as by train.

I have a question for nat11! Well, what hotel did you stay in, share the secret that it turned out cheaper for you, being an independent tourist?! I tried to find such an option myself, that is, to book a hotel, and not in the "high" period, at the end of January of this year. And it still turned out to be very expensive compared to what the travel agency offered me. The travel agency has its own direct contracts with hotels, its own developments, nuances and discounts for the group. Yes, the plane is not much more expensive than the train. But the author is interested in a cheap trip!

Fly through a travel agency and for at least 5-7 days, a tour from Kyiv for 7 overnights by plane cost me 530 euros for the New Year! (on holidays the tour is more expensive by 80-100 euros)
the hotel itself is one of the cheapest ( http://www.prague-hotel-krystal.cz) costs 20 euros per person in a double 20x7 = 140 + 35 visa + flight 300 + insurance + transfer - it won’t be cheaper for sure! And the amount of the tour company also includes excursions ...

Good evening. Tell me, who knows what the weather is like in Prague at the end of November?
