In the Czech Republic, only Christmas is celebrated and New Year's Eve is not there, all cafes and shops work as usual. Don't even bother with evening dresses. Jeans, a sweater, a warm jacket with a hood and comfortable shoes with thick soles are all you need. dressed very democratically, I did not see anyone in dresses.
