For children, look in Dahab "Koraya" - this is a hotel in a bay with an amazing sandy beach (as for Sinai), we went through this hotel on an excursion to Dahab. Here is a photo of the beach:

There is also a long bridge, 25 meters, with a platform and two descents into the sea, but it’s deep right away, 2.5 meters and further deeper. You can see the fish and the water is clear
