As it turned out in all the hotels in Egypt food is lame. With regards to the reef, it is in Charles, and a good beach is Hurghada :) The main thing here is the mood. We were in Harmony Makadi Bay. We ate well, the beach as such is, but the entry into the sea is not very good. But the reef is almost like in Sharm! Better than Paradise Island 100%. I recommend Grand Makadi Bay. Many Egyptian guides consider it the best hotel on the coast. Real German management is a rarity in Egypt. Slightly problematic entrance to the water, it is better to go away (if adults are not a problem), but a good reef. There are few of us, so they love us. An excellent Italian restaurant where you can eat a real Australian steak or lobster for a small surcharge. I was there at the beginning of January.
