Iberotel Costa Mares in November
We are going to Marsa Alam for the first time, before that Sharm and Hurghada. We are going to this hotel in the first half of November (8 adults), we read that it opened this year - this was one of the selection criteria. Who rested in this hotel or in The Three Corners Fayrouz - tell me, please, the pros and cons of the hotel and Marsa Mubarak Bay. How windy is the beach? And also the possibility and how interesting is snorkeling along the reef wall going to Three Corners? Is there anything to do in Port Ghalib? What would you recommend to visit? Thanks.

The service will be great. This is the most expensive hotel in Marsa Alam. The reefs in the bay are not very good, but for the sake of turtles and the opportunity to see the dugong, you can safely go.
In Port Ghalib, gatherings in cafes are all entertainment.

I vacationed at The Three Corners Fayrouz in April of this year. Iberotel Costa MARES has already opened and welcomed tourists.
I visited the Marsa-Mubarak bay almost every day.
I liked the coral wall from The Three Corners Fayrouz to Marsa-Mubarak Bay (I swam from my hotel to the bay). Quite a variety of living creatures.
If you have a rest in Costa MARES, you can swim in the morning at dawn, when there is still no wind, from the bay towards Fayrouz and return with the flow back to the bay.

Pluses of Marsa-Mubarak bay are dugong and big green turtles. Lots of big green turtles.
There is wind in the bay, but you can always swim. And in November, the wind can be cold, although the water is likely to be still warm.
In my opinion, the minuses of the Marsa-Mubarak bay are too many tourists from motor boats and yachts that come to "hunt" for the dugong.
Be careful with the current, I do not advise you to swim out of the bay without fins.
