Tell me about Abu Dabab... please
Heard about the bay of Abu Dabab, I would like to visit it. Do they offer a tour from Resta? Tour cost? What is included in the tour, duration of the tour and what to take with you?

It is better to go to Abu Dabbab on your own. At the reception in the nearby Resta Grande, you can order a taxi from the limousine service.

Depending on what you want to see in the bay.
If you are guaranteed that you will see a dugong, do not believe it. Of course, you can meet him there, but no matter how much I and my comrades tried, it was not.
But you can see as many turtles of different calibers as you want.
Keep in mind that you will have to swim through a small area of current and turbidity before you reach a swarm of turtles, so it is advisable to have good fins. But it's worth it.
On excursions. We took a fool from Pegasus, and offered two types - for half a day and for the whole day. I thought that if suddenly the dugong sails in precisely in the afternoon, and I leave in the middle, then I will not forgive myself for this and took it for a whole. The surprise began when one bus came for everyone - both those who took the whole, and those who took half. I think, okay, it rolls back and forth a few times.
What was my surprise when I returned and found that those who took for half a day were sitting on the bus and waiting for those who took for a whole day. =) They were told that your time is up, but you have to wait and you can look at souvenirs for now.
So what the hell is this operator, it's better to take a taxi and pay for the entrance yourself.

Yes, I forgot to say - the excursion program included three swimming, and only one with turtles, the rest - at the reefs, where, in general, there was nothing unusual and particularly interesting.
They wanted to swim to the turtles themselves - they said that it was impossible to go there without an instructor and they returned us back.
The second unpleasant moment was - there were so many people that we didn’t get free sunbeds under an umbrella, and in the sun there was real heat. Well, some Germans let us in under an umbrella.
It’s good that we talked with a local instructor on the beach, he unscheduled me and my wife, and really helped, since my wife didn’t cope very well against the current, the two of us literally dragged her by the hand. It was a super swim - and we saw a lot of turtles, and there were no wild tourists nearby, otherwise when everyone swam together, everyone decided to catch turtles and they, the poor, stuck to the bottom from such pressure. And right next to us they swam and looked at us.
And what is generally remarkable, this local boy did not take a penny from us for this, although I offered him.
So find people who want to go to the hotel, throw everything together in a taxi (negotiate the price in advance!) To make it cheaper, and go.
