did not understand the situation with the sea
good afternoon. tell me, otherwise I'm completely confused.
when the flag is hung and the sea is stormy - during this period you can swim in the lagoons? that is, if they are not allowed into the open sea, will it be possible to swim in the lagoons and look at the fish there?
And yet - is there a sandy entrance to the sea?

In any weather, you can swim in the lagoons of this hotel and it is possible to see even more fish than at the reef.
You can’t call it a sandy entrance, these dead corals are covered with small algae, so the sea smells of iodine in the evening, which was never noticed in Sharm, Hurghada. In my review there is a photo of the beach from a height and you can see where the storm ends - on the reef, you can swim in the lagoons.
In the Red Sea, in any case, it is advisable to swim in shoes, even if the sandy entry!

The situation with the sea there, to be honest, is difficult. You need to be very lucky to swim on the outer reef, and it is not important either :(
There is a lagoon there, but if you rely only on it, it is too boring. You can also see photos from the lagoon and the pier here:

You can swim in the lagoons all the time, even in a storm. An exception is low tide (a rare phenomenon, but it happens), but during low tide the sea is usually calm and the pier is open. So do not worry, you will swim every day in any weather. More optimism and everything will be OK!

You can swim in the lagoons, but if you came to snorkel with turtles, watch moray eels, etc., then there is nothing to do in the lagoons. The sea is often rough and stairs are raised for safety. It is better to stay in hotels that are in the bay - it's nearby, but they are more expensive.

the sandy entrance to the sea is only in the bay near the neighboring hotels, in Resta there is only a pontoon.

We saw 3 species of moray eels in the lagoons, we also saw stingrays and an octopus there.
