Compare snorkeling in Braika Bay and Fantasia.
Hello.
I already set my sights on Fantasia, since I had already been there and liked everything, but then I suddenly found offers for Braika for the same money, however, for 11 nights instead of 14.
The main goal of my holiday is good snorkeling. Needed as
a good unshaken reef, and the convenience of viewing it - the absence of turbidity, strong waves and currents, a convenient entry (not crawling).
I heard that Braika is in the bay and is closed from the waves, is that so?
If so, how is the reef, not boring, in what condition?
Is Braika worth the missing three days in Fantasia?

I can't compare Braika with Fantasia, because I haven't been to Fantasia, but I visited Braika twice, I liked it very much. The entrance to the bay is very good, really closed from the waves. In May there were a couple of stormy days, but we swam, though we canceled all diving in the sea. Two reefs, right and left, are very good, turtles live near one of them. The octopus lives literally on the beach. There are Spanish dancers.
This time the food was good, but the set of food was slightly inferior to our previous time.

Of those who were in Braika, almost no one was in Fantasia. I really only know one person.
Go to Braika IMHO. After the New Year, they begin to introduce new buildings (practically, a new hotel) Braika-2. And on such a bay it will already be "Bolivar will not take away two." There are a lot of living creatures (until they scared away)

In Braika, a new beach will be equipped for the new building + you can go outside the hotel and snorkel on the "wild" beaches - you can even be the first visitor there!

Does anyone have good underwater photos from Braika, except for the standard vague "here is a lionfish", "here is a turtle"?

We considered Braika for this year, but when we studied in more detail and talked with experienced and real specialists, everyone unanimously says that the hotel bay is mostly full of mud, which is completely unacceptable for us. Bryke had to be thrown away.

Study. This is a photo of Braika's water from a fan of this hotel who has been going there for many years in a row and several times a year. This year was cloudy, but the photos are excellent as always.

And if you really want
take a picture of something extraordinary - be prepared to swim for six hours a day and several kilometers. It is not serious to expect that all the fish of the Red Sea will swim to the pier to please you.

We decided on Braika. I'm waiting for booking confirmation.

My friend was 2 times in Braika and once in Fantasia. She said yes, the reef is more interesting in Braika, and the hotel is better

Thanks everyone. The hotel was confirmed - you can slowly pack your bags and wipe the dust from fins and masks;)

wipe-wipe :) And don't forget to spit on the mask;)
