In October 2018, we rested in the new Albatross in Marsa Alam. We drove 2 hours from Hurghada to it. Sentido is 15 kilometers further. We went there on the way to the Excursion to Port Ghalib. Just arrived from this hotel. From Hurghada 3-4 hours drive. The hotel is good, the food is good, two warm pools and two cold ones, an entertainment program, they could not drink cocktails, but beer and wine are normal. BUT ... You will not reach the corals and swim. We did not see them, but they say that they are somewhere far away. The sea leaves at low tide for a kilometer, sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening. You will find where to swim, but more you will have to walk along the shallow to the sea where you can swim. From living creatures we saw moray eels (they sleep right on the sand) and not many fish. We went from Port Ghalib on a boat to watch corals and turtles.
