I was in Egypt twice (Makadi Bay and Safaga), but never managed to go to Abu Simbel. Coral Travel / Odeon Tours offers such an excursion, but the first time there simply wasn’t enough participants, and the second one just didn’t work out in time (two-day tour and only once a week). Or maybe you should just buy a guided tour? Do Ukrainian tour operators offer them?

This year we went on an excursion to Aswan-Abu Simbel, we took a ticket from our operator TezTour. Expensive, I think 370 bucks per person, but in Marsa Alam we did not meet a single local operator (there is a desert around), so there was no one to bargain with. The tour is tiring, but very informative. They were satisfied.
