About excursions. We were only on 2 excursions, which in our opinion were the most interesting. 1) Utopia Island: first from Hurghada about half an hour by bus. Then transfer to a large boat. Then they ride along the Red Sea with stops. There were 3 stops to swim and see the underwater world (masks, fins and vests included). Some time later, lunch. And then we were transferred to a boat with a glass bottom, and we sailed to the island itself (which is flooded with water every day in the late afternoon). Then back on the boat and home. 2) Excursion to Luxor. There are all sorts of attractions: ancient temples, tombs, an excursion to a perfume factory and a papyrus shop. We liked everything.

I was not in the hotel itself, but we drove by and sympathized with those who got there. Good thing we didn't take it. It is located outside Hurghada, around a construction site and a garbage dump, there will be nowhere to leave the hotel.

Excursion moto-safari 2 - super! Paradise Island, it's beautiful, blue water, white sand! This tour is called a walk in the east!

with hotels and the truth, be careful. but I can't say about this one.
and as for excursions - I liked the 3.5-day tour of the Nile. There are different variations - from Aswan up to Luxor or vice versa. There are longer routes - from Cairo, etc. Everything depends on your requests. If you are only for a week, then one Luxor is enough. but remember, often local guides take more to shops where they receive interest - these are the so-called "institutions" of papyrus, etc. Nonsense, but many people buy banana papyri, which are as far from the original historical ones as Neptune is from Mars. In Sharm there is one shop-art salon with fixed prices and author's works, including good copies of historical things, but in Hurghada I don’t know this. Most importantly, remember that in Luxor (former Thebes) there is not only the Temple of Karnak, but also the Temple of Luxor, there are singing statues, there are valleys of kings and queens.
Many are brought to the valley of the kings, but the majestic temple of Queen Hatshepsut is silent. Book the entire itinerary in advance.
If you have a desire - try to go to Abu Simbel - this is in the very south of Egypt - the grandiose temple of King Ramses II. It is easier to get there from Hurghada than from Sharm.

Tour operators offer this hotel as an economy option. Suitable for those who prefer not to sit all day at the hotel, but to experience the beauty of Egypt. From excursions, of course, I will advise Cairo (preferably for 2 days, a very interesting program of the second day) or Cairo + Alexandria. Going to Luxor in the summer is very hot. And of course, you can take a bunch of local excursions: a motorcycle safari, a trip to El Gouna, a trip to the coral islands.

good for those who came on excursions, you can only sleep and eat at the hotel. Entertainment and animation 0. The sea is very shallow. The main thing is not to go there with children. No kids club, no entertainment, no playground, nothing!!!!!!!!!!
