At the Tropicana Grand Azur, the pier is 800 meters long and is the longest in Egypt. In summer, walking along it to dive into the sea is a dubious pleasure. And the hotel itself is good.

Good hotel + reef - Barons in Sharm, Sensatori in the same place, but only Mostrevel-Tui from Moscow sold it, Hilton Sharks Bay nothing, Hilton Waterfalls and Ritz Carlton - but there is no all.

Look at Sharm - Faraan (El Faraana Club), Coral Beach Montaza, Melia Sinai, Hilton Sharks Bay.

It feels like I finally got hooked on Marsa Alam, since there are fewer people and the underwater world is wilder and less shabby, and in general there are other specifics - there are hotels in the middle of the desert and outside the hotels there is no civilization at all, but there are much fewer beggars and steamers services, and other people in general. There it is a quiet rest, relaxation, so to speak. But it seemed to me that in Sharm the food was an order of magnitude better, although it could be a coincidence.
In Sharm and Hurghada, closer to civilization, there is nightlife outside the hotel (you can walk), but as a result - overly active street vendors and beggars. And in Hurghada is much "tougher" than in Sharm.
I haven't been to Makadi, Dahab and Taba yet (except for passing through), these frontiers have yet to be mastered;)

If the goal is snorkeling and relaxing on the beach, where there is a gap of 20 meters to the nearest sunbed, then this is the right option. And again, cherverki, fives ... - does not affect nutrition. The same Faraana is a modest foursome, but from my point of view, the food was the best of all the hotels that I had a chance to visit. Now it may have deteriorated there, but a few years ago I regularly ate there to the point of pain, since I couldn’t stop.
