I've been three times. at different resorts. It's cold there. Honestly. I didn’t measure at night, but we walked in sneakers and autumn jackets. I can show you a photo. Water maximum 23 degrees in charm. In Taba there were 18, in Hurghada 22 (it seemed that all 20 because of the winds).
In the morning for breakfast go cool, windy. On the beach you have to hide because of the wind. In general, if you really want to go to Egypt in winter, then I can advise (based on my own experience) the following:
- Choose a building and not a bungalow, so that after dinner you don’t go to the room in the cold
- a hall to be large and a lobby bar in the hall. In the evening it is more comfortable to sit in the lobby, listen to music, drink cocktails. And it is better to go to this hall along a warm corridor.
- it is obligatory to have a swimming pool with warm water, indoor is better, but it is also possible on the street. This will be the only pleasant place for reusable swimming.
A trip to Egypt in winter is from late autumn to late spring :-) I have already promised to go there on my DR in January. Right now I'm choosing between Sri Lanka and Goa. It's guaranteed to be warm there :-)
