Watch when you drive. If not in winter, then I would advise Hurghada. Citadel Azur. The hotel is beautiful, unusual, probably one of a kind. Made from coral. The food is good. There are a la carte restaurants, free of charge. The coastline is one and a half km, there are corals and fish. I also liked the port, the Mozart cafe and the ice cream cafe nearby. Everything is included in the price. The hotel is huge, a lot of entertainment. If I ever go to Egypt again, I will go there.
I was in Sharm at the Sheraton. I can only recommend Sheraton Maine 5*, but..it is still inferior to the Citadel.

Charm!!! We were 4 times in Sharm, 1 time in Hurghada. Sharm has a nice Hadaba area. There is no strong wind or current.

I really liked Concord El Salam Front 5 * - next to the same Soho street and it is cheaper than the Savoy recommended to you earlier. Two weeks ago I returned from Sharmovsky Sea Life = this is a group of three hotels: SEA LIFE, SEA GARDEN, SEA CLUB and you can use all three for free. You can read my reviews. . If you are going on excursions to Cairo, Luxor, then you better go to Hurghada !!! If you go to holy places. . Mount Moses, St. Catherine's Monastery, Israel = then to Sharm. Take excursions from street agencies = they are 2=3 times cheaper than from a hotel, AND THE ALL PROCEDURE IS IDENTICAL. Read reviews about it on the internet.
