I also vacationed in Mars Alam last year at the Sentido Hotel. And I completely agree with jabetta - here you get a completely different level of service than in Hurghada. The road from the airport to the hotel took 2.5 hours. Back somewhere also. A feature of a holiday in Mars is the small number of Russian-speaking contingent of tourists (everyone is afraid to travel for a long time, and Europeans fly to the airport in Mars). For me, this is a plus. From this, the hotel staff gives you a "European" service. Go to Marsa Alam - you won't regret it.
