I have a Sony TX-10, very happy with it. small and the picture quality is excellent. I bought it 3 years ago, maybe it has already been removed from production, but I'm sure Sony has analogues.

D20 is not much more expensive than D10, and you will not achieve decent quality cheaper. Moreover, the D20 and video shooting is good.

Passion for photography is not a very cheap thing and talking about quality and discussing soap dishes ……. If this is only for one trip, then buy a better waterproof case or aquabox for your camera today. They will work their couple of meters normally, but then they still need additional light, it only seems to the eyes that the water is clear and light under water

You got normal everyday photos for memories. Another question is what is the cost of each such frame for irina1988. For a soap dish at D20 the price is very biting. In the air, all hermetic cameras lose to ordinary classmates (hermeticity has its drawbacks). It's up to the questioner to decide. But buying an average soap dish and a waterproof case will be more economical and efficient for the future, and if you still have a camera, then in comparison, the costs of a case and a new sealed camera are generally incomparable.

If anyone wants underwater masterpieces, then there is no limit to perfection - you need a good camera + box + light, etc. etc. Only with all this, not everyone will be able to manage underwater. Roza - why not Pentax WG3. A very worthy beast and there is a digital microscope mode for macro photography.

If you have enough money, take the Canon D 20. It will be better. Nikon was affordable for us. Now a newer Nikon model has already come out, but already more expensive. but we do not regret it. The quality of the photo and video is good. there was a savings. The battery doesn't really last very long though. enough for 1 day with a large number of photos on land with a flash and underwater without. We want to buy 1 more spare.
