If you are interested in the underwater world and the "house reef" in the first place, then definitely Charm. In Sharm, I recommend the Baron resort - today the best LIVING reef, a luxury hotel, included in the top 100 best hotels in the world. In summer, it is not so hot there due to the fact that the long beach is blown by the breeze. Nearby there is also Sensatoria (former Conrad), it is huge, the reef is very good.

Marsa Alam. Hotel Three Corners Fairuz (5 stars). Don't be disappointed. Turtles live in the bay and the dugong swims. Have been to the hotel twice. We are planning a third visit in the fall.

As for the baronchik in charm, I agree with the recommendation! There are probably no budget hotels with such wishes now in the charm! With a good reef, underwater world and in the bay, there are still options, an excellent number of rooms with all this buy-in, just a few hotels!

Completely missed Moviepick. Really nice hotel and nice cove with lively underwater world, but Arabs are quite possible. It didn’t bother me, but there are people who don’t like women in the pool in pants, and they are richer than our brother .... Another plus is a 10-minute walk and you are in Nayama Bay

Baron's reef is better for me than Moviepick's. However, they are simply different, the Movie Peak - the depth is smaller and the space is limited, if you swim within the boundaries of the buoys, but at the Baron everything is somehow large-scale, a long reef, few people. Movie peak beaches are all in ravines, in bays protected from the wind and there are calm, cozy beaches (there are four of them). On the grub is about the same. Movie peak was designed by the French, but now the Germans rule and it is somehow more comfortable. Any of these hotels are great choices
