аватар Natasha59

Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh Resort 5*

Sunrise
аватар salesintersumka
in January it is 100% calm only in Sharm and only in the 1st bay of Ras Um El Sid, the number of hotels there is limited, but from my own experience the best Jaz Fanara Resort & Residence 4 *. Suite rooms, economy is not worth taking.
аватар kara77
Four Seasons 5 * - perhaps the most expensive in Sharm

A very strange question .. It seems that the topcaster himself does not quite understand what he wants :)
аватар belyaeva89
Excuse me, but what is the strangeness of the question?

In Egypt (as well as in other countries) it is not always more expensive = what you need. You have declared certain parameters, so according to them you need to search (bay, food, etc.) and choose. And the concept is more expensive, something like that, not all that glitters is gold. Moreover, the month of January is not hot, here you need to thoroughly approach the choice of a hotel. I will not advise anything, because I think that there is nothing to do in Egypt in January, there are other countries with a real summer where a heated pool is not needed, the water in the sea is 27 (not 22 ... but it will feel like 18) and higher degrees, in the morning and in the evening you will never need a jacket, etc.... Especially since if we are talking about a more expensive hotel.... there are a lot of options with convenient direct flights...

Therefore, I clarified that the price-quality is of interest)
I just worked all year and I want to go on vacation so that nothing spoils the rest
And with regards to other countries, I completely agree with you, but unfortunately for the first time I’m traveling together with a child who is 6 years old and I’m afraid to go somewhere further to the exotic (

Somewhere further - it's just a few extra hours on the plane. Nothing to be particularly afraid of. If I'm not mistaken, there are flights from Odessa to the Emirates. Accordingly, package tours to Sri Lanka, Thailand. But this is not Egypt. And the budget doesn't really matter to you.
аватар Marsyanchik
You need to first choose a couple of three hotels yourself. Decide on your priorities. With a 6 year old child, the priority will be the presence of an aqua park, warm pools, a good entrance to the sea, decent a la carte restaurants. I would consider Sunrise Royal Makadi. Personally, I would choose the more respectable Grand Rotana in Sharm. Photos and reviews to help.
аватар moy_contakt
I completely agree, the UAE flight is not much further, but there is comfort and hotels of a completely different level. There is also a transfer to Sri Lanka, India, Thailand ... If you are traveling for the first time, then think about Egypt in winter, no matter what non-females say, comfortable time and summer, in your understanding, will not be there. Choose more comfortable countries in this regard, with a warm sea - the ocean, and you will be happy.

Go boldly to Egypt. This is normal for you and your baby. You will find a hotel with a closed bay and a normal water park and food. As for Sri Lanka or India, I personally would not recommend flying with a 6-year-old child. Firstly, it is tiring for a child (for example, Sri Lanka - 5 hours to Dubai, then transfer and 4 hours to Colombo, and then another 3 hours to the hotel, it was difficult for me on such a trip), and secondly, there are few hotels with children pools (frogs), water slides. In the open ocean, especially when the waves of the child will not be much fun to swim. I'm not talking about food. In Egypt, rest normally. Here you are advised a few good hotels, choose. Seafood can be eaten at Fares Restaurant. A maximum of $ 5 is a taxi from any hotel. The menu is varied, 10-15 dollars for 1 person will suffice "with a head ".

In winter, the windless bay in Sharm is Naama Bay - there is an excellent hotel Stella di mare, you can also consider Ras Um El SID bay - Sentido reef oasis hotel or Sharks Bay - there is a chic hotel Sunrise arabian

Thank you very much kind people for the feedback! I'm going to study!
unfortunately, apart from Egypt, we can’t fly anywhere else, because permission from dad is only there, and he’s on a flight
That's why I'm only looking at it!
Thanks again for the feedback!!

Sri Lanka and so on, of course, far away. But the UAE is just right. And in terms of climate and other parameters. The recommended hotels are certainly good, but it’s not in vain that a person wrote that the long-awaited vacation, etc. ... January and February (and for me, December and March) are the coldest months in Egypt. And no matter what happened, the expectation did not coincide with reality. I repeat that in the morning and in the evening it is cool, and maybe cold, it's as lucky as during this period at night the temperature drops well. The fact that they say that the water in the sea does not drop below 22 degrees is yes, but it doesn’t feel like that at all, of course the sun warms during the day, but ... it doesn’t take long and the pools don’t warm up, and in water parks the pools are usually unheated. Heating is usually in some kind of shallow paddling pool for children and some kind of one swimming pool for adults - everything, everything else is icy, and no matter what they say .... even if you take it well (and I'm not a supporter of this method), the water will not be warmer, but for I’m generally silent about children, mine simply refused to swim in such water. Well, in the end, go on vacation to sit in the pool ... Winter holidays in Egypt are many moments, it’s not in vain that prices fall during this period.

If only Egypt will support what they wrote to you above on Ras Um Sid and Hadaba - definitely without wind
still good in this bay Iberotel palace 5* - no wind, quality food and good sunset for children
the hotel opened in 2017 in the same windless bay of Albatross Aqua Park 5 * - the plus of the hotel is that you can use all the additional infrastructure of the Albatross Aqua Blue 4 * hotel, including restaurants, part of the pool in the huge water park of these two hotels is heated

Consider Sunrise Arabian beach, we always go to Rixos, for me it is the best in terms of service, food and cleanliness, but it is a windy bay. Take a look at the Hyatt regency. Look at the reviews of these hotels and reviews and decide already. In the reviews everything is indicated - what is included, what is not, whether it is possible to use a la carte restaurants. if you want. Their budget is somewhere around $ 1100 - $ 1300 for a week for two, when we fly to Rixos about $ 2000, but there is everything in the main restaurant and even more than. + 5 restaurants are included in the price. well, if you want everything- not less than $1600 for two

Value for money (January) + conditions for the child + not windy bay - Sultan Gardens 5 *, Sunrise Arabian, Sunrise Diamant Beach 5 *
аватар Vika284
Sultan Gardens 5 *, Sunrise Arabian, Sunrise Diamant Beach 5 * - this is Sharks Bay, Sharks Bay is not so without wind and red flags on the beach during the winter months

"Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh 5 *" - "expensive". There is a heated pool "Waha Pool" - with fresh water and an open-air jacuzzi, two children's pools in the park, a kids club ...
"Jaz Fanara Residence 4 *" (there is a heated pool) and "Jaz Fanara Resort 4 *" (cheaper), "Iberotel Palace Sharm El Sheikh" (hotel in the bay) ... see also hotels in the bay "Naama Bay", It will be comfortable there in January. For example "Hotel Novotel Sharm El-Sheikh" or "Maritim Jolie Ville Resort & Casino" (Preferend zone).

We are flying with a 4 year old child to Sultan Gardens in December. Were without a child last year in November there, were delighted. Therefore, we did not even consider other options this year. The hotel is very cool

Take a good look at Albatros Aqua Park 5. Which is advised. Must like it. Your option.
аватар zolyshka111
moy_contakt, Emirates in January is also not much better than Egypt.
аватар AllOverTheWorld
Stella is a small area ..
Seafood? hmm ... if you are talking about normal seafood, and not about pieces in sauce or squid rings in batter, then Rixos and 4 seasons, but you are unlikely to buy at the time of the year you have chosen
Sunrise Arabian is a good option.
Albatross is not a bad option, but inferior to the previous ones, but its main advantage is the new hotel! and really childish.

What Sharks Bay, a child of 6 years old, and there entry into the sea only from pontoons. With a child in Naama Bay, Jazz Phanar is a very good option by sea, there is an excellent sandy lagoon for a child.
аватар nmozharovskaya
I also join those who believe that there is nothing to do in Egypt in January. Most likely freeze. The child will only be able to swim in the heated pool. The wind will be in all bays! The water in the bay is always colder than in the open sea. Get + 16. I decided a long time ago not to go to Egypt from December to April. Thrown away money. Is it possible to hang out in discos and bars, but you are with a child. Thailand, Sri Lanka, Emirates, Mexico (Cancun), Maldives - this is where you need to go in winter with a child! A pleasant, not tiring road with a good airline and everything will be SUPER!
Good luck with choosing a resort!
