Been to Il Mercato. Beautiful hotel. Pros of the hotel: The staff is good, helpful. I liked the food very much. Animation at a very good level. There is a heated swimming pool on the roof where you can swim even at night. There are many shops and a market nearby. You can walk to the Old Market.

Long Beach is a former Hilton, they recently built a small water park, partially renovated, many pools, good territory, their own beach and sandy, though with ebb and flow, but there is also a pontoon, where there are corals and depth. The service is 4. The only minus is far from the party, almost in the desert. There are few shops and nowhere to walk outside the Mercato territory - this is not even the second line, rather the third. on 2 beaches: paid and free, both are not an option - complete unsanitary conditions even on a paid one. So if you are close to the sea, then in Long Beach, if pools are arranged, you can consider both hotels. And consider hotels from the point of view of Sharm or Hurghada in this case is not correct.

On the topic of weather: we were in Sharm in February 2018 from 6 to 13 - heat, only T-shirts and sundresses were taken out of clothes. went home without leaving the suitcase. ALL the evenings went in jackets, the temperature dropped to + 9. Out of 11 days, 3 didn’t swim at all. And this despite the fact that the hotel was located in the allegedly windless bay of Ras Um Sid. These days were heavenly rest: warm and windless.
