In my opinion it is dangerous to go to 3-4 stars in Egypt. We were in a 5 star hotel in Taba and it didn't shine. Especially food and drinks. There was no variety. The vegetables were not washed, and there were no fruits at all. Alcohol was not allowed.

Israel is not scary if you go with a good operator: Pegasus or Tertess. To be honest, the country itself is not very good :-( But you can go to Jerusalem like a museum. Only it will probably be hot :-( We were in January. You can read my review.

Yes, sometimes 4* is better than 5*. But a lot depends on the vacationers themselves, we behave, sometimes, just like a pig. She herself once witnessed an ugly squabble (5 * hotel in Sharm) because of a sunbed near the pool, I was ashamed that I speak Russian.

In general, I try not to speak Russian, I’m embarrassed :-) You know, I’ve traveled .. three, and I noted an interesting fact for myself: foreigners, quiet, family with children or pensioners are more common in 3-4 *, and our compatriots are more in 5 *. In Greece, in the trio of Dimitras Village, there were more Germans and an Italian, I didn’t see a single Russian couple, well, maybe I just didn’t meet in 3 days. There were Czechs, such lovely pensioners. In Pearl Beach, too, there was not a single Russian, in Atlantis there was only one couple from St. Petersburg, VERY decent people, just bursting with pride for them :-)
I also chose 4 *, before it was generally 3 *. Bel Air, Hurghada. They say that there is simply excellent service, the hotel is German, there are very few Russian-speaking people, the staff is not Russian-speaking. That's what you need :-)

I saw the hotel in 2004. A long time ago, of course, but ... what is there. The territory is small. Of all the hotels in Taba - the most affordable. She herself was in an advertisement, asked vacationers. Everyone was happy. The food, of course, is not very varied, especially with regard to fruits, but in general, everything is pretty good. If you want to save money, feel free to choose this hotel. The sea is magical! Israel is within reach!

My work colleague was vacationing there last fall. I was satisfied, the sea is good, the hotel is very quiet. A big plus is that it is in the first line, albeit 3 *. Was in an advertisement in December 2009, stopped by the hotel. Last time (in 2004) the impression was better than this time. :( The hotel is stretched along the sea, the beach is rocky, there is a sandy entrance, but you will have to go to it. Shallow water (150 m from the coast - depth 1 m). There were VERY few people. Wilderness ... No animation. Everything is VERY modest, the rooms unpretentious, but all with a view of the sea.Small swimming pool.
