Good afternoon! Do not advise to settle in the 10th district. I stayed at the Hôtel Jean Bart in the 6th arrondissement (left bank), a nice hotel, not very well known by tourists.
For myself, I chose (according to reviews) a couple more hotels for future trips, these hotels:
Mercure Paris Opera Louvre in the 2nd arrondissement
Hotel Vacances Bleues Villa Modigliani in the 14th arrondissement.
