we were in the summer (at the end of July) there were a lot of people - both tourists and local residents. The Arabs were especially active in the Moulin Rouge area, it was very problematic to go out alone without a man. In winter, there are somehow fewer of them on the streets. In the spring, too, they didn’t particularly pester, but maybe because in the summer I was with friends, and in winter and spring with my husband :)

Well, our hotel still corresponded - we lived on the second floor in a room with French windows and there were no curtains anywhere - even in the toilet, all the windows faced the street and there was simply no place in the room where you could not be seen and in the morning there was always under the windows crowd of men who love to watch. plus some pimp usually managed to jump right into our tourist bus in the morning, offering services. But that was back in 2003, now it's quieter, at least that's how it was in May.
