How to buy a ticket for the subway.
From the airport Sh.deG. you need to get to the hotel, which is located in the city center near the metro. What ticket do you need to buy ??? If I understand correctly, you can buy one ticket and with it you can get to the hotel (from the airport by rer and metro). But I will be in Paris for a week. Maybe it makes sense to immediately buy a travel card there or buy one-time tickets all the time. Please tell me how to do it more economically. Thanks

From a / p ShdG you need to buy a ticket "to Paris", which is valid on the RER and on the metro for 1.5 hours, it will "take" you to the hotel, now it costs 9.5 Euros. If you are going to Paris for a week, then there are a lot of options for saving travel, you need to carefully calculate everything, draw up routes and plans for the upcoming trip, then you can decide on the best option.

You buy 10 bidetiks, they sell them in packs

10 tickets is called Cornet. But there are other savings options - travel cards for 3, 4, 5 days for different zones. Therefore, you need to calculate your movements and decide what will be more profitable. There is also Openbus for a different number of days, you can get in and out of it as much as you like, and its price also includes a boat on the Seine. So there are a lot of options, there is something for everyone.

Thanks everybody. The situation cleared up. I would like to clarify the cost of 10 tickets (and they already indicate certain zones, or all). And the second - the cost of Openbas with a boat. And where can I buy it, does the metro have ticket offices?

Another question . Can I move from one zone to another with a single ticket?

1. Cornet (ten tickets) - costs the price of nine (15.30 Euros).
2. One metro ticket pays for the entire trip, no matter how many metro lines you change.
3. There are also Navigo and Visit travel cards. It is necessary to calculate whether they will be beneficial for you. They are sold at large junction stations, where there are "live" cashiers, you need to have a photo with you.
4. On Openbas (more precisely, Opentur) you can buy even via the Internet:

Lord, well, people are already asking such questions that it becomes ridiculous. Make a plan at home for EVERY day of your stay in Paris - from here and "dance", we did just that ...
аватар jabetta
But I do not consider such questions shameful, they are no worse than questions about a pot, weather, etc., etc. I am sure that it is impossible to foresee everything in advance - there will always be options that "passed by" and were not used. So why not take advantage of the experience of others? It's always better to learn from someone else's mistakes than your own!
And who is annoying - please pass by without stupid comments, if there is no practical advice;)

I agree with Zhabetta.
A person traveling for the first time does not want to shirk helplessly through an unfamiliar city, and the more he learns on Turpravda, the easier it will be for him on a trip.

Dear jabetta, please don't "teach" me - to be annoyed or not... I'm not in your bedroom... Look at yourself - you, too, were IRRITATED by my comment?!?!? Which I find the most helpful! In order NOT to shy away - make a detailed PLAN LONG before the trip for every day - what, where and when you want to see !!! Someone else's experience is still NOT a helper - we know from ourselves !!! Well, the question of which tickets to buy in the metro - I don’t even know how to formulate its absurdity ... There are A LOT of options !!! Therefore - I repeat again and again - you need a PLAN !!!

Everyone is so excited today...
Has spring come to Gukovo?)))
аватар Lidia47
For a long time!!! On the thermometer behind the balcony today +32!!! What I wish to everyone who is NOT in Gukovo!!!
аватар jabetta
1. I did not "teach", but culturally asked - do you catch the difference?
2. I wrote about the plan in my first post.
3. If for you, dear Lidia47, someone else's experience is not a helper, then firstly, I sincerely feel sorry for you, and secondly, it is not clear what you are doing on this site, because here everyone shares their experience or draws someone else's.
4. You didn't annoy me at all - you can hardly do it;)

Sorry to those who are annoyed by my questions. But they may seem ridiculous to someone, this is because I ask about the smallest details precisely because I really make a specific PLAN before each trip. I'm going alone and when I'm armed with all the information, I'm calm and confident. Sorry, I'll ask a lot more questions like this... and please, whoever doesn't like it, just don't answer such stupid questions. I hope there are people who can still help me. And there are some!!! Thank you so much to everyone who understands and supports me. I really need your advice and experience. I appreciate your attention and time. With respect to all who are on the forum.

Thank you all for your participation in organizing the trip. Everything went well. Paris is gorgeous !!!!! Was a week from May 13. I managed to see both Reims and the city of Manet - this is Giverny, and Van Gogh is Auvers (and even his grave). Also the Atlantic coast - Dueville, Troueville, Honfleur and the port of Havre. In general, there are a lot of impressions .... but oh, how I want more.
