Is it possible to get a visa?

The boy was nowhere at all? Never? And in childhood? Travel document?
It seems that TO are right, there are a lot of minuses:
- your son has never been anywhere before, an empty passport
- does not work, no income, no property (apartment, car)
- not married
Nothing keeps him here .. It's not a fact that the boy will not stay there. No, well, you and I know that he has not needed this England for three hundred years, but the British do not know.
Why don't you choose another tour? To a country more loyal to Ukrainians, or visa-free?
My daughter also defends herself in June, I can imagine your experiences. It will be a shame if the child is denied a visa, a refusal for three years, if I'm not mistaken. Can you think of something else?
аватар shumera
don't panic ahead of time.
submit documents and wait for a response.
аватар Viltis
shumera, Are you firmly convinced that it is worth the risk? If I'm not mistaken, the refusal of a Schengen visa means the impossibility of applying again for a period of 3 months to 10 years?
TO does not want to take responsibility, but you decided to take it? :-)
аватар sent2008
Most likely they will refuse. A girl from my work wanted to go to England, she is 22 years old, works, is not married - they refused with the wording "The desire of the tourist to stay in the country" and the availability of work, previous trips to visa-free countries, a bank account (everything was documented when applying for a visa) the issue was not resolved positively.
аватар shumera
The UK is not part of the Schengen area.
аватар shumera
They can refuse in any case, or they can give a visa, and simply don’t let them in upon arrival, but collect the correct package of documents, if they call for an interview, behave sanely and there is every chance that they will put a visa in an empty passport.
A Schengen refusal is not grief, you file an appeal and if it’s your truth, then everything will return to normal, and if you yourself are out of sorts, then why blame the mirror ...
аватар Biker_Oksana
I wouldn't risk it. There is a chance of failure, and a large one (although not 100%). And in case of refusal, the end of the university will be associated with the guy not with a holiday, but with disappointment. When it comes to the HOLIDAY-- why play "roll or roll"? The idea to give a trip is excellent (I would like someone to give me a tour O :-) ), do everything beautifully - give it to the country that issues visas more loyally. Good luck!
аватар sigur62
Nonsense. They will give him a visa. He has an undeniable advantage - he is a man, usually suspicious of young unmarried women. And in general, why did you all decide, dear ones, that in order to obtain a British visa, you must first travel around half the world?
If he travels on a package tour, with a booked hotel, purchased air tickets, there will be no problems. Get fit and have a good trip!
аватар fialca
I agree that the UK is not included in the Schengen, and where does such speculation come from that if you refuse, you can’t apply right up to 10 years? Well, who told you such nonsense. You can apply for docks even for tomorrow after the refusal, which many do by adding documents and receiving a visa. On the topic, my friends filed more docks about finances, with reservations, etc. great chance of getting a visa. Everyone gets a visa for the first time.
аватар sigur62
Someone decided that the boy would not be allowed. It's simple - they won't let you in, and that's it. Arguments boil down to minus those who think otherwise. Primitive and unoriginal.

Since we decided that when buying a tour through an agency it would be easier to get a visa at the consulate, we decided not to save on the trip (it’s cheaper on our own, of course), but it was in 2 travel agencies that we were told that we had no chance of getting a visa, they recommended traveling to other more loyal countries, and we don’t mind, we just don’t know which countries are loyal to issuing visas to Ukrainians. If you know, can you recommend?
аватар sigur62
You have strange travel agencies in Ukraine. Well then, go to the loyal ones - Turkey, Egypt, and generally speaking the entire Schengen, Ukrainians often go to Poland.
аватар shumera
It is absolutely not true that it is easier to get a visa through TO. There are so many cases when TO "stuck documents" and simply lose them.
To any country you want. Send to the Czech Republic - interesting, informative and beautiful.
аватар sigur62
But this is true. TOs do not like to work in areas where they really need to work. Regarding Britain, registration there requires more knowledge and skills than in the Ally Egi and Turkey. That's why you were kicked off by these idiots.

There is a thread on the forum on a UK visa, there is a lot of useful information there. I know several people with the first visa in the passport, the British and immediately for a year (somewhere like that). And not the Rockefellers ;-)
Collecting documents is a lot and carefully, but even if the refusal of the Britons does not matter at all for further visas!
аватар Tanunik
Thanks for the recommendation. We are now trying to decide on another trip, we are considering the Czech Republic-Hungary tour and perhaps we will try to change the tour operator, because. the same company told us that these visas can also cause problems, and a Polish visa or, for example, a visit to Egypt and Turkey does not affect the British Visa Center at all. They recommended Canada, Austria, the USA and at least Hungary. In short, it is very disappointing that such an attitude towards Ukrainians, having not previously encountered trips abroad, we thought that everything was simple, and now having received a foreign passport, we fell into a stupor from the difficulties of traveling to many countries. I wonder if Ukrainians are allowed into any countries without any problems? My husband and I are going to Sri Lanka in the fall, it seems like free entry there, and of course I wanted to send my son to the UK, Ireland, Scotland, but ... we hope that everything is ahead.
аватар shumera
this travel agency scares you with a denial of a British visa, but they offer an American one!? change travel agency!
аватар sigur62
Exactly. Change urgently. And indicate here its name, Ukraine should know its heroes and innovators in the tourism industry.
аватар Tanunik
TO "Feeria" was one of the most suitable tours for us.

God, people... "They won't let you", "Schengen", "banned for 10 years", "attitude towards Ukrainians".
Tanunik, you haven't gone anywhere yet and haven't even tried to get a visa, but you are already sure that "there is such an attitude towards Ukrainians"... Everything is not as scary as incompetent people say. There will be no ban for 10 years if you do not submit FAKE documents. In this case, a ban, which is clearly stated on the UK Border Agency website. Of course they can refuse. And for those whose passport bursts from all kinds of visas, and for adult working uncles, and, in general, for anyone. And not only Ukrainians. But practice shows that if all the recommendations are followed and elementary attention to the correct execution of documents, a visa is usually granted. In your case, as I understand it, you just need to arrange sponsorship for your son, while attaching all your financial documents, and not his, i.e. certificate from work, from the bank, about deposits, about the movement on the account, about additional income, etc.
If you have never gone anywhere and have not drawn up documents, then, of course, you yourself should not contact the EC, it is better through a company.
аватар hatinka
People! What 10 years for refusing to obtain a visa, if foreigners deported, as well as expelled from the EU, are given "bans" (ban on entering the EU) for 3 to 10 years!
You think! A criminal who actually committed a crime and received a prison term is banned from entering for 10 years. Or maybe 3...
Not even taking into account the fact that sometimes (!), deportees from one EU country are absolutely not forbidden to apply for a visa to another country.
For example. Finland. A drunk tourist driving is often a visa cancellation and a ban on entering Finland. But nothing prevents you from applying for a visa, say, France. Documents will be considered!
But most importantly, why add a Schengen visa to a British visa! There is no connection!
аватар sigur62
Exactly. Topikstarter is an alarmist and a coward, and has already shown his panicky fears of visa services in several threads. Then you should not apply for a visa to any country at all, because any consular officer, seeing fear and horror in the eyes of a visa applicant, will definitely refuse. Just in case.

Well, as a mother of exactly the same graduate student (only of the opposite sex :-)) I understand the topicist. It's one thing to get rejected by yourself, spat and forgot, and it's another thing to spoil a child's gift for graduation. To your own child. I wouldn't risk it. All the more, I know perfectly well that lately we have been treated rather coolly in Europe. Those who advise starting with countries loyal to us were not born yesterday and understand the visa policy very well. Hungary, the Czech Republic, even Germany and Holland will open without a squeak, and then you can aim at "more serious types of fishing."
Scolding and advising to take risks at a distance is the easiest way :-) No responsibility.
аватар sigur62
Spoil... your own...
Why so much pathos? Let him go to Turkey, Egypt, Croatia, to the Crimea in the end ...
аватар Viltis
Let him go to Holland on the North Sea. It's the season right now. Light wedge on Turkey did not converge.
And what's with the pathos? I would feel guilty. Because that would be my fault.
аватар Viltis
And in general, do you look at the dates? Nobody has gone anywhere. Two months have passed. Woke up..
аватар sigur62
Woke up. So for some reason, interest in this topic has flared up again this week.
And to feel guilty (guilty) that the child did not go somewhere ...
аватар Viltis
You don't understand this. You are not a mother..
аватар sigur62
In fact, father and grandfather)))
Okay, let's finish the graters. Have a nice weekend!
аватар Viltis
Well, I'm saying, not a mother :-) Women .. they are more emotional. Although .. maybe I'm the only one.
What weekend? Wow, did you translate the arrows? :-)
We still have Thursday..
