some new Georgian airlines appeared. their website in Ukraine is not working yet. ticket kiev-tbilisi-kiev round trip costs 180ue. so far it is possible to order only through the Georgian side
there is viz air. arrive in Kutaisi. I saw a one-way ticket for 500 hryvnias. There is naturally more expensive, perhaps cheaper.
there are hostels in batumi. the prices are ridiculous - near the seaside bouleval for 15 ye per day.
there are a lot of cheap hotels in tbilisi, I think there are hostels too.
Food in Batumi is cheaper than in Tbilisi. if you will travel by taxi (it is cheap), ask the taxi driver to take you to a restaurant where he would take his family, you will not lose.
traveling by public transport is not expensive, but if you are 3-4 people it makes sense to take a taxi. it will come out the same.
there is a transport connection between the cities. that is, it is quite possible to travel around the country on your own.
The best tour guides are again taxi drivers. they love to talk about their story and tell a lot

Hello! I decided to share information with those who want to relax near the sea in Georgia.
I did not use the services of travel companies. She booked the flight. I flew with UIA, I bought it shortly before the trip, so it was not cheap, 4 thousand hryvnias. But travel is the biggest expense on a trip.
I advise you not to book accommodation in advance if you want to rent from the owners in the house. They usually don't advertise online. You can easily negotiate with the owners on the spot. We have accommodation at 30 GEL for two / day.
I rested with my mother, for us the most important thing was the sea and nature. Therefore, we decided to stop not in Batumi, but on Cape Verde (Mtsvane Kontskhni, not far from Batumi, where the botanical garden is). We lived with wonderful hosts on Magnolia Street. This is from the stop (there is a beach) to go up for 15-20 minutes. There are houses and lower, the price there is a little more and there is no such beautiful view as at the top. Almost every day we went to the Botanical Garden (it also has access to the sea and the beach). We also went to Batumi four times. Minibus 31 runs from Cape Verde to the center of Batumi, it costs 60 tetri (approximately 4 UAH). It takes about 20 minutes to drive. Food was bought in Makhinjauri (this is a village between Batumi and Cape Verde).

I want to warn everyone, in the sea near the shore of Cape Verde, under water, the skeleton of the old pier is huge reinforced concrete boulders. I almost ran into one of them, 2 iron pins protruded from it, about 40-50 cm from the surface of the water.
To my indignation, why no one warns and there is not at least a warning buoy (this is 3 meters from the shore), the local Georgians working there simply brushed it off, one waiter said that there was a buoy, but it vomited during a storm and still didn’t will do.
Local Georgians all know about this and they all don’t care, when I asked where it is safe to swim here, one joked that it was only in Sarpi (this is a sandy beach on the border with Turkey, 20 km from Batumi).
Moreover, one of the holders of the cafe himself injured his leg there.
Carelessness, in general, is complete and spitting.
It's pretty, but be careful!
