We had such a case in Athens, Glyfada a year ago. Arrived September 28th. The weather is wonderful! In the evening we went for a swim in the pool. Just beauty after the road. The next day, we heard a conversation in English at the reception that some crazy tourists were swimming in such a cold. And the next day it was dropped. The heat is below 30 degrees, the sea is 26 degrees, and they keep saying that everything is out of season. Try writing to the hotel and asking. Polite Greeks will answer, I think.
