How is snorkeling in Greece? Anyone who is fond of this, tell me your opinion.
I'm trying to find this question among the questions of other users on the forums. But mostly those who are responsible for snorkeling are not so important. And I would like to hear the impression and opinion from those who are a real lover of this and purposefully specially brought the mask. What can you see there, which resort is better? I understand that in Egypt the situation is better with this. But I have already been there. I want a new one.

We went to Crete 4 years in a row with flippers and masks. We lived at the Iberostar Crete panorama hotel. There are quite beautiful lagoons in the rocks, you can just look from above, or you can dive. You can swim out into the open sea, also beautiful blue water and there are fish, crabs and other living creatures

Thank you. Even meager living creatures will also be interesting to me than just swimming without a mask. And what is this city in Crete and which sea is more interesting for snorkeling, the Aegean or the Mediterranean?

This is the Rethymnon area, near the hotel is the village of Panormo. I can’t say which sea is more interesting, but for myself I concluded that there is nothing to see where there is no sandy and gradual entry into the sea. It is better if there are stones, rocks and a few meters from the entrance the sea deepens a lot. I hope you find something suitable for yourself. This year we are going to Bulgaria, and there is a sandy beach and no snorkeling.

Yes, where the stones are of course more interesting. After all, where there is simply a sandy bottom of living creatures, there is nowhere to hide.
