I have been to Crete 2 times. 1st at the end of September, in the second at the beginning of October. End of the season, prices for classy hotels are 20% lower (Aldemar, Grecotel). The weather is super. Water is 25-26 degrees, air is under 27-30, but it doesn't bake like in summer. Car rental from 25-30 euros per day. Great time and place to relax !!!!!
