In general, the consulate is more interested in the financial situation of the tourist and all the documents, how it will be to get to Schengen, where to live, and not everything works here. And the fact that the account should not be empty is a no-brainer. But no one conducts financial investigations here, there would be money. "No brainer" - this is actually a saying and didn’t concern you personally, and the employer doesn’t threaten to write a certificate (fake) to the embassy anywhere either. The only risk in this case is a tourist if the company is called and some uninitiated girl blurts that there is no such thing in the company. That's all!
