For this time of year, either Crete or Rhodes is best suited. Last year, in the second half of September, we rested in Crete, in the Chania region, at the Hydramis Palace4 * hotel. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. It is located on the seashore, the beach is sandy, at the entrance there are pebbles (about a meter), then sand. Several times we saw how the hotel staff removed large pebbles from the edge of the sea. No problem with sunbeds. All, I am not a supporter of this type of food in European countries, but my husband insisted and we did not regret it, everything was delicious, well cooked. There are no discos, evening animation, parties. Very calm and quiet hotel, exactly what we were looking for. In the daytime, volleyball is held on a remote site, and water aerobics. Within walking distance is the village of Kavros, a local center of culture with taverns, shops, a sightseeing train. Regular buses run on schedule to Rethymnon and Chania. Perhaps we will return to this hotel. The tour was bought from Tez Tour, it is exclusive to them, the only thing that didn’t work was the Blue Birderweiss air carrier with good service, but very old sides.

A colleague from work rested in Crete at the Grecotel Club Marine, was very pleased with the hotel. Also check out Kreten Malia Park - a very good option.

There you really need to relax and wallow in the sea)))) There were no dissatisfied among my bad guys, in addition, look at the weather archive - it’s consistently hot there even in October, though I don’t know about the waves there. When charters are curtailed, everything is cheap there, not all hotels work, there are not many people. There are also large hotels, but not all. Here in October the last time the couple flew, very satisfied.

I know that everyone in Crete praises :) My husband’s parents also returned delighted from there in the fall, but the hotel where they were is not suitable for us now, and they have not seen other beaches and hotels.

At the expense of the bald, there is not much, the Mediterranean coast is everything in Rhodes, more vegetation in the Aegean, look at the hotels there. On Crete - Agios Nikolaos, this area of the island is quite green. Look at Mitsis in Rhodes, I also like the Princes Rhodes hotel in Kiotari, your only condition that is not met is a small road between the hotel and the beach, but there is no traffic at all, it is of local importance, for servicing hotels.
