how is it with the beach?
I swim badly and I’m unlikely to jump from a concrete platform, but I don’t see a normal beach there.

There is a pebbly beach near the Albatros hotel. So either live somewhere nearby, or walk to this beach

Surely there is a ladder to go down into the water. Usually such ladders as in the pool. In Croatia concrete slab is almost everywhere. But swimming in the Adriatic Sea is easier than in other places. The sea is very, very salty, it holds a person well. I bought an inflatable pillow (about 14 kunas) and swam first on it, because I am also afraid to swim if there is no bottom under my feet), but then my daughter swam next to the pillow (and she swims like a fish), and I swam calmly to the buoys. Try this experiment if anyone can help. You will love this feeling - I'm swimming myself!)

I’ll clarify a little: in Croatia, a concrete slab is almost everywhere in Istria, but, for example, on the Makarska Riviera it is not there ... but this is a bit irrelevant to the question :)

Two beaches - one cultural, with sun loungers, umbrellas, towels (all free), steps into the sea, showers, a restaurant and lifeguards. The beach has a blue flag - very clear water. Gorgeous view of the town.
The second beach is on the other side of the hotel, there is an exit directly from the elevator. The beach is rocky, but there are steps with railings. Half of the beach is nude.
There is also a swimming pool with warm sea water and a gorgeous view.
If you go there, you won't regret it!
