Surely there is a ladder to go down into the water. Usually such ladders as in the pool. In Croatia concrete slab is almost everywhere. But swimming in the Adriatic Sea is easier than in other places. The sea is very, very salty, it holds a person well. I bought an inflatable pillow (about 14 kunas) and swam first on it, because I am also afraid to swim if there is no bottom under my feet), but then my daughter swam next to the pillow (and she swims like a fish), and I swam calmly to the buoys.
