HELP WITH ADVICE!!! WHERE TO GO IN CROATIA
Never been to Croatia.
Searching through the Internet leads to a dead end (few photos of the hotel + territory + beach), so I ask for the help of vacationers in this country. I will define the criteria:
1. Me + husband + child 1 year 6 months.
2. A little distance from the airport.
3. Warm and clear sea (journey time June) + not a steep staircase to the beach.
4. The hotel is of a high standard, but not noisy.
5. Preference for accommodation in a bungalow or villa.
6. I want a lot of greenery, not a high-rise hotel building.
Thanks!

We rested with a one-year-old child in the city of Vodice, at the Olympia hotel. We drove from Split for 40 minutes (if I'm not mistaken). We went in mid-June - great weather and warm sea. The beach is next to the hotel, pebbly, such a massage for the body :) The child really liked it. U.S. too.
My review is here.

Take a closer look at the hotels on the Makarska Riviera, south of Split (Brela, Baska Voda, Tučepi...).

In Baska Voda, the sea is excellent, but the descent to the beach is steep.

I had a rest in Makarska hotel "Makarska Riviera". By the sea for about 5 minutes, the beach is pebble, the entrance to the sea is gentle, the sea is wonderful. But keep in mind, all the beaches are urban, but very clean, umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee. There is where to take a walk in the evening, the embankment is large. I really liked it.

KRK Island. Warm and clear sea and no slopes to the sea. Accommodation mainly in villas. Many tourists with children.

Thank you very much, doidor, but I'm afraid the little traveler will have another hour on the ferry - it will be difficult)))

There is no need to take a ferry to KRK. There is a bridge there.

Take a look at this link http://www.turpravda.com/hr/medulin/Belvedere-h9237-r13463.html here I have a very detailed description of the rest in the village of Medulin near Pula.

I would not advise Makarska because of the long commute from the airport, for a small child, after 2.5 hours of flight, another 2 hours (minimum) of driving is too much. Consider options close to airports. I was in Meden, near Trogir, 15-20 minutes drive from the airport. Quiet, nice, peaceful place. Dubrovnik: the town of Mlini is not far from the airport and there are good villas. Istria: a lot of good hotels, a lot of greenery, but the beaches are slabs, basically, I don’t see anything wrong with that, but again, not for everyone. The sea will only be cold in June.

I was in Brela-Hotel Soline Berullia. gentle descent to the awesome sea! I am delighted - the sea is immersed in greenery!

I was in Croatia 8 (!) times with my wife. For starters - a vacation on the island of Crvena Otok in the hotel Sol del Istria (an island opposite the glorious town of Rovinj). Or on the island of St. Katharina opposite the town of Rovinj. Brela is good for families with children. But not Makarska Riviera - too noisy and crowded!
