We were in Bali for a long time in 2008, but I think little has changed since then. In terms of diving, the closest is from Nusa Dua and even closer from Sanur. In Nusa Dua they rested personally - calmly, decently, but expensive and there are no discos until the morning. Sanur - we passed by when we went diving - cozy, cute, according to the locals there is nightlife, there is even a Russian restaurant, I advise you to take a closer look because in Kuta, in my opinion, there is nothing else besides nightlife and, sorry, it smells bad - drains under the pavement

In Kuta, I lived at the Hard Rock Hotel 4 *, I liked it very much! of course, the situation is not like in 5 *, and the rooms are smaller, and there is no view of the ocean from the window, etc., but in general there is no 5 * in Kuta - the beach across the road is public and shitty and a lot of people come to sunset. The hotel has a Russian guide, I don't remember her name, but a very nice girl. In the evening, the reception (lobby) turns into a huge bar and dance floor! Oh-oh-oh, how we lit there !!!!! there is also a Hard Rock cafe where it's even more fun!!!!!! This hotel is for young people, you will dance with Australians and New Zealanders and with everyone, everyone !!!!! I would also recommend the Grand Haytt Hotel 5 * in Nusa Dua, a clean good beach, a clean ocean (!) surfing for hire - just super impressions from this hotel! but to hang out at night - you just have to catch a taxi in the evening and go to party places ;-) also back! I would not say that a taxi is cheap, and I would not say that it is expensive! I also recommend the Grand Mirage, although I did not live in it, everything in this hotel is for Russians - there is an all-inclusive system, entertainment events are held and so on and so forth - everything that the Russian soul asks for!
