and that says it all))) Another question for you. Did you fly with UIA? if so, what kind of dutik in the UAE? and there is info on the plane. displays? Or do you need magazines? thank.
аватар Anetka-gan
I flew a direct flight of an aerosvit))) I answered your question on the displays.
I haven’t been to the UAE, but judging by the stories, the dutik is big
аватар MachoManiak
clear))) ATP)) but what about the prices in December - January? days that way for 9-11 without excursions, but with daily trips to different beaches (by taxi), meals in shek and restik? Is 500-600 enough for two? Not a fan of souvenirs, but so small.))
аватар Anetka-gan
you made me laugh so much)))))))))))) I changed 200 ye in 2 weeks in India, and it was my trip to India, not only GOA.
read my report on GOA. there are prices
аватар Anetka-gan
in no case do not dare to take a taxi))) expensive))))))) rickshaw - the maximum. and in general - for rent a moped !!!!!
there are no chic restaurants there))) well, maybe there are, but I have not seen)) the most decent and expensive ones are on the beaches. acquaintances once ate 800 rupees. but it's VERY expensive))) it's 17 bucks for two))
аватар MachoManiak
well, I just don’t want to limit myself in something, but I don’t have any plans to buy any garbage either) the main task is to travel around the beaches and eat and drink normally))) I just read a lot that people don’t spend less than 500-700 ye, so I clarify) )
аватар Anetka-gan
do not forget that the people who go there want to spoil)) but there is no point in doing it in GOA)) you need to relax and have fun there))) GOA is a vacation for backpackers from all over India, it is not the Maldives. This is a poor corner, albeit a paradise)))
There is absolutely no point in buying anything. and you can have a delicious meal in any cafe. fruits are cheap. booze is cheap 9 in the report she wrote on what and where to get it)
we did not infringe on ourselves AT ALL!))) We also brought a separate bag of gifts)))
аватар Anetka-gan
I have friends who live for 200 ue in Goa for a month))) this is with housing)))
500-700 is chtoli with excursions. tour operators are expensive.
аватар MachoManiak
Well, I chose this hotel Villa Vicente in Candolim. Norm there is a beach or is it better to go somewhere else? I'm willing to pay a little more, but not to be intrusive sellers and a nice clean beach)
аватар Anetka-gan
Well, this is the north)) next to the fort. you can go to the fort yourself, to the Old Town, to the capital. there are enough people there
see Colva, Benaulim, Fatrade. These are quieter and smaller villages. Still cooking. this is central GOA.
аватар Anetka-gan
do you fly yourself? Or are you thinking of taking a tour?
аватар MachoManiak
Well, 2 of us offer a flight transfer accommodation for 11 days for 1050 ye, I think it's not at all expensive. Well, I understand the location is almost perfect to get to anywhere?))
аватар Anetka-gan
no, not ideal))) you will not get to the south)))) it will come out far. You can, of course, but you'll be tired. and go sightseeing just right. Buses run from Panji to anywhere. By the way, the bus junctions are not bad, they drive quite normally. fares are ridiculous. they speak English. take you where you need to go. cheaper than taking a rickshaw
In principle, the price is normal for such a tour. you can go.

аватар Anetka-gan
oh, she came out small. look through google maps
аватар MachoManiak
)) ATP)) well, of course I don’t pursue the goal of traveling around everything) but I would like to see 2-3 yarn)) well, of course, to see local sights)) well, with the amount and the weather, at least everything becomes clear, otherwise they write that it rains and a little money not 1500 ye with you)) I just want a little summer in the middle of winter, but in Egypt it’s cold and tired, but in Tai it’s dumb now))
аватар Anetka-gan
the rains ended in October) I was in the rain) it's cool, it cools a little after the heat)))

Good afternoon. The other day I made an advance payment for a tour with Villa Vicente.
A small question to Anetka-gan. And how far is it to get to the fort, the old city from this hotel, how much money will there be a rickshaw to get there (is it really possible to walk?).
P.S. for MachoManiak, I was told that the charter in the UAE only lands for refueling, and people are not let out of the plane. Specify.
аватар MachoManiak
Well, yes)) but it seems like they are launching back into the Dutik))

to Fort Agaud? from Candolim you can walk, but go min 40, or you can rent bikes. bring water with you. it is possible on a bike. 10 minutes to go for sure.
to OLD GOA - to get by bus to Panaji (10 minutes) will cost 7-10 rupees per one. and there at the station to ask for a bus to the Old Goa (go min 10, price or 7-10 rupees per person)
motor rickshaw in Fort Agaud - not worth it)))) well, a maximum of 50 rupees. to Old Goa in the area of 80-100 rupees. maybe even 50. as an option to navigate more in price, catch a seller with something, and ask the price for an auto rickshaw. they know the prices and are unlikely to lie.

I'm reading this and I'm just amazed! Why are you disorienting people? Do these hippie friends of yours live right on the beach? I have been coming to Goa for 3 years, I know many Russians who live here permanently. One family friend rents a modest house (in which they themselves have made repairs) for $ 200. And this is now generally a rarity! They rented it 2 years ago, having agreed with the owner that he would raise the price by $10. every season. By the way, these guys are engaged in real estate, so they figure out where it's cheaper.
In addition, in Goa, 1000 rupees (20 dollars) a day goes away, you don’t have time to look back. This is gasoline, if you ride a bike, food, and so on, on trifles. including housing. So, if you multiply 20 dollars by 30 days = $ 600 + housing 200 or 300 + more extra. expenses that still happen (clothing, going to a restaurant, but you never know). And now tell me how your friends eat the holy spirit in Goa or what?
аватар Taddy142
And, please note, these prices were described by me for those who already know them, without taking into account "divorce for tourists", extra charges and deceptions. These prices are also indicated without taking into account excursions with a tour operator or with other small companies, of which there are a lot in Goa. + souvenirs, fruits, restaurants, etc.
Because of such messages, as you wrote, many fly to Goa, taking 500 USD with them. for two, and then they call their relatives home to send them out. I met some who dreamed of seeing the Taj Mahal and someone told them that this tour costs $ 150.
Well, how can it cost $ 150 for three days, if you fly by plane only in one direction for 2 and a half hours, and there is a hotel, food, travel, entrance tickets. Only in the Taj, an entrance ticket costs 750 rupees per person ($ 15 )!!!
So, dear tourists, take with you as much as you used to spend at home and a little more (if you stay, you will bring it home anyway, they won’t take it away :)
Have a good rest!

As for the restaurants, it’s also wrong. What was built on the beach is not a restaurant, it’s a sheki (translated as a summer cafe). It’s generally hard to call them restaurants. I can recommend the most beautiful places in northern Goa that my friends showed me:
Inferno (inferno) in Calangute, a street opposite the Newton supermarket, going to the beach. The penultimate restaurant in front of the beach. After 7 pm there can even be a queue. European and Indian cuisine, large portions, excellent service, delicious dishes, including seafood, steaks, etc. .P.
Restaurant Talas (Vagator) is the best Greek restaurant in Vagator overlooking the sea. The owner is a Greek woman.
Restaurant After Seven (Avter Seven) in Calangute. From the main road, turn a little towards the beach. Opposite the Over the flames restaurant. There is a wonderful serving, a very romantic atmosphere, amazingly delicious. Continental cuisine.
аватар Taddy142
There is a good restaurant in Candolim called Planet of Noodles at the lemon Tree hotel. Expensive, but so exotic!
The average check in these restaurants is 1000-1200 rupees for two. ($ 25)
In Inferno, for example, a plate of seafood (grilled shark fillet, mussels, various shrimps) costs $12.
аватар Anetka-gan
there is not a single hippie friend, I was not lucky))) all some smart business workers))) and so I lived somehow in GOA for 50 ye per week with housing)))
no one talked about the Taj here at all. this is a separate issue and costs.
for restaurants, cafes, sheki bars, don’t find fault with the names)) don’t strain like that)) you are in India)))
аватар Taddy142
I'm just informing people about the prices as I live in Goa and you are just a tourist.
And now even hippies are already $50. a week with housing here barely live
аватар Anetka-gan
I'm not just a tourist)) but these are nuances. how many people so many opinions
аватар Taddy142
Although, if you take a cheap hotel like a deuce + included breakfasts, ride a bus, then this is quite enough for dinner. in Week
аватар Anetka-gan
well, there are different people, we are not used to spending money for nothing
