We rented a scooter for 300 rupees for 1 day (150 rubles), for 10 days it cost 2000 or 2500 rupees, I don’t remember exactly (about 1000 rubles). For beautiful wild deserted beaches, I recommend driving to the North;) To the neighboring state of Maharashtra, to the famous Paradise Beach, and to the lesser known Vingurlo Beach. Completely different nature there.

Nobody will steal the scooter itself, so you definitely can’t be afraid for it. If you suddenly park crookedly and interfere with someone, they can drive you to another place, but no more. It is better not to leave things in the scooter, and hardly anyone will take them on the beach. We left a backpack with keys, money and a phone, covered it with a towel (not so much from thieves as from sand) and went for a swim. And not once, no one encroached on him, although there were plenty of people walking by. It’s just that the more you worry about things and show it to others, the more reason they have to check what you value so much!)

There are very few people on the beaches of the South, and almost all of them are Russian-speaking compatriots. So there is no one to steal)): We left equipment, money in the amount of one day and things are always on sunbeds by the neck. Everything else is in the hotel safe.

I confirm! I’m not lucky at all, they rob me wherever possible, so I hide everything in parts and in different pockets ... Nothing was lost in Goa, despite the fact that I often went to the beaches alone and threw a bag with a passport, a SLR, a phone, money for shore. At first I tracked people, but then I stopped.

For the first time there was an embarrassment: (left near the sunbeds of a beach cafe) with children's slates, stood next to ours, which no one touched, and the little ones liked someone, well, just like in a fairy tale about Masha and the bears. By the way, they were bought in India. True, not quite cheap by Indian standards in the Mysore brand store for 300 rupees. The child was not upset, but was very surprised.
