I disagree about the Russian-speaking guide - there are none. Russian speakers there are those who went 5 times to Russian language courses at the Russian cultural center. They know a maximum of 10-20 words. You need to take an English speaker - at least something will be clear. Better stock up on literature - it will be much more interesting and informative. I was very pleased with the good nature of the Sri Lankans, they always took care that we liked everything.
