I would not advise with a small child to fly so far. What for? Long distance flight. Tourism is developing there. My opinion...

If you have not paid for Sri Lanka yet, I would recommend another country for a holiday with a child. Sri Lanka is not Turkey or Egypt, and a transfer flight is difficult. And as already mentioned here, mass tourism in Sri Lanka is only developing and for very small conditions there is none. And in the ocean with big waves, swimming is uncomfortable for a child. Is it worth it to fly so far and swim in the pool.

Yes, the little one will not be able to swim in the ocean on his own, but in an armlet, ride the waves with his parents, mine didn’t climb out for hours, my husband and I took turns splashing in the ocean with her !!! The fact that you should not go to Srilanka with children is written by those who themselves did not go there with children !!!! I knew that we would get to the hotel for a day and set up the child, everything went perfectly! We went to the Yalla National Park with her, and to the mountains to the waterfalls! Rest is wonderful! If parents are in the mood for a wonderful vacation, and not whining about flying far, then the vacation will be fabulous for both parents and children !!!!
