I had a 3-day excursion - Sigiriya, Kandy, Dambulla, Paradeniya. Everything is interesting, except for the spice garden, that's where the divorce for visitors is. Everything that I bought and threw away, except for black pepper (unprecedented exotic!). I regret not going to Nuwara Eliya.

If you were in Nong Nooch in Pattaya, then Paradeniya will disappoint you. In my opinion, Kandy is an over-advertised place - there is nothing super interesting there. I liked the temple in Kelaniya or Gongaramaya in Colombo more. .I haven’t been to Matale, but in the other 3 "spice gardens" - it sucks - 10 trees with signs, and then there are advertisements for various Ayurvedic crap
