I’ll write the order of prices a year ago, the route (we took a tour in Unawatuna in advance along the route that I wanted) - Unawatuna - Sinharaja - Yala - Ella - Nuwara Eliya (visiting the Horton Plateau) - Kandy - Pinavella - Sigiriya - Trincomale - Unawatuna. Total 6 days. Pomnitsa, before the trip to Tai, there was also such a forecast, we arrived - and in two weeks there were only two showers of 15 minutes each, the rest of the time - "partly cloudy" with the sun.

The weather was changeable, with morning showers and afternoon "haze", but !!! came to the conclusion that in the "high season", when the sky is clear and the sun is direct, it is probably worse than in such an "off season" with its respite from the heat. What pleased: 1) Weather; 2) Prices (I think that they are higher in the season) 3) Lack of people on the beaches and cafe-restaurants. There was a wave on the city beach, but it was quite possible to swim. I recommend taking a tuk-tuk to "jungle beach" - it will cost: 10 minutes drive + 5 minutes descent through the jungle + 100 rupees. For dinner, I recommend a cafe on the beach (toward the end - towards the temple) "Hard Rock Cafe". Dinner for two: 2 servings of soup + 2 servings of the "second" :)))) - french fries + salad + shrimp or squid + 2 cola or forfeits. . . . 15-16 bucks. Cheaper (in terms of quality and quantity) we did not find. In other cafes, the quality is worse, and the portions are smaller.. If you decide to "hit" shrimp and other "seafood" - you can arrange at the hotel to cook it, but it's worth buying in Halle at the market from 10 to 12 - when the fishermen sell their fresh catch. On the day of departure, you can "buy" a box of fruit (10-12 kg) on a tray for a bottle of vodka next to the hotel - go home.
