the beach is ok. it is blurred only near Unawatuna Beach Resort (hotel) and Happy bananas. All other places are swimable, don't worry. Regarding Tambapani, a new hotel, everything is clean. think well. The hotel is not far from the beach. Walking for 5-6 minutes. The place is a bit remote. There is no infrastructure nearby. There is nowhere to walk in the evening. The darkness is terrible. The road to crowded places is not illuminated, in the evenings, after 6 it’s scary to walk.

My review is about this hotel. We were in deluxe. His photo 4-5 on vacation.com. It is not clear how old the child is. I repeat, but I think that this is still a hotel not for small children. Don't relax. You have to be careful not to fall. The stones will hurt. I would look for another hotel on booking for the same money. In fact, there are a huge number of them. Not necessarily near or on the beach itself. The ocean is noisy enough loudly... You will also need to get used to this. And it's not hard to get there. I would say enjoy. And the beach, as we understood, is one of the best for children. There is a space closed from waves. It is on the right when looking at the ocean. Ask - we will answer.

I join the opinion of like-minded people and do not advise you to relax in Unawatuna hotels in November. If you are going to relax with children, then you need to choose hotels that have a lagoon or reefs. These include the Dikwella Vilezh Hotel and hotels in the Hikkaduwa area.
