Excellent hotel Long Beach Koggala. The most luxurious beach on the coast. Koggala is a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. Unawatuna is generally not the best place to stay. Dirty beach, solid boats with divers, dull hotels that go directly to the highway. If you are going for diving, from Koggala by tuk-tuk - 5 minutes for 2 dollars.

I apologize if I hurt your feelings. Living permanently and resting for a short time is a huge difference. I agree, Unawatuna is better for life - shops and food stalls are close. We rested with a family of 7 people in Koggala, and everyone agreed that it is much better to relax in Koggala! And adults, and the elderly, and children.
