Hello) You can go to Skadar Lake, the monasteries of Cetinje, look at the island-hotel Sveti Stefan, go to Mount Lovcen, the Bay of Kotor, see the canyons. such mini-excursion agencies, they can be found on large stands with large photo offers of excursions. I don’t know the prices, I went with a very small child, so we had a walking and beach vacation)))

The most interesting excursion for me was a trip to Albania.

I was in Ostrog, on a cruise along Boka Kotorska (and you can sunbathe at the same time), on an excursion to Cetinje-Lovcen (it’s better to go in sunny weather - the views are better), Tara rafting (I highly recommend it, though it’s a long ride). In general, it’s better to negotiate for individual ones with the driver simply - this way you can travel much more.

Thank you very much!

Canyons will definitely tear up all these excursions. 3 nature reserves and almost half of the country will go around in a day. but very tiring.

I was in Cetinje-Lovcen, Ostrog - it was scary to go to Cetinje by bus - very narrow paths. I wouldn’t advise you to drive yourself, Ukrainians don’t have such driving experience .... and buses with tourists leave for a meeting and you have to pass them - I was sooooo scared. The views themselves from the height of the mountains are incomparable with anything. There is a monastery in Ostrog, for religious people it is necessary and interesting.
And I also advise you, even though I myself wasn’t there to go to the Bay of Kotor - I saw the pictures VERY sorry I didn’t go.

Hey guys! And Dubrovnik? Especially if you haven't been to Croatia yet. Cool place.
I can also recommend the Black Lake in Zabljak, it is sometimes combined with the Tara canyon.
Boka-Kotor Bay is also recommended. If suddenly (!) they offer Lovcen with a descent to Kotor (well, or vice versa, from Kotor to Lovcen), take it without hesitation))) There is such a cute serpentine))) And the views are the coolest on Kotor and the bay.
From the city of Perast, I recommend swimming to the islands in the bay (with a monastery). Boat 5 euros both ways.
I somewhat disagree with aquarel about the advice not to drive yourself. Ride! There are much fewer problems there than in Kyiv. Drivers are more or less disciplined - they don’t cheat, they don’t constantly rebuild. Yes, narrow, sometimes very narrow roads. But there are enough sidings, such that straight cliffs are not noticed. Chips for tourist places were almost everywhere. But the driving experience, a good experience, must be. Mountain roads in ChG, unlike us or Europe, are often in one lane. That is one lane for both directions. This is very unusual and at first uncomfortable. But! You quickly get used to it, tourists don’t often get carried away on them and everyone drives slowly (tunnels, turns). Speeds-40-60km. So it's not all that scary.

I agree with everyone !!! I also advise you to see the city of Kotor itself and the fortress is a must (although it’s hard to climb in the summer in the heat).

pluses from me to excursions in:
Dubrovnik, Sveti Stefan, Albania, Boka Kotorska

I recommend renting a car for the first 3 days. On the first day, see Kotor, Herceg Novi, Dubrovnik. On the second, go through Cetinje to Lovchev (mausoleum), be sure to go through the ancient Negushi! Take an excursion to Kakyony, as it is very tiring to go. But I don’t recommend Skadar Lake, it’s just a waste of time. If someone has an opposite opinion, I’m willing to bet! If I’m interested in the option with a car, I can suggest many details that will help distribute forces, money and cheer up :)

- amazing memory for names :) Or have you been recently?
Upon my return, I can hardly remember any details regarding excursions (names, routes, etc.)

I was almost 2 years ago. And I remember because the memory is good and everything is better remembered by car

Nikonov, I went in August 2011 :) I remember, because I read a lot about Montenegro, I wanted to go with my husband, we chose places for ourselves to see, but the circumstances were such that my husband could not, I went with my daughter :) I remember everything, I plan still go with my husband and see it all :)

Thanks for the advice. And how safe is it to go on tours in a tourist bus on their roads? Are there accidents often? I looked at the road Budva-Lovcen on the map - just awful!
аватар aquarel
don't know the stats
but it was VERY scary!
after this road, the road from Yasinya to Dragobrat (which scared me) - baby talk

There were a lot of agencies on the Embankment and the prices were the same for everyone. I advise you to visit Kotor and the Bay of Kotor with a stop in the city of Perast, Cetinje - Lovcen, Ostrog (I warn you that the road is not for the faint of heart), Tara and Moraca canyons. We went to the island of Sveti Stefan on our own. Be sure to go to Dubrovnik. Don't forget to wander around the old town in Budva.
