Montenegro has very cheap prices. If you eat for a week and do not take meals at the hotel or live in a villa, then in order to eat in a restaurant you will have enough 20 Euros for two per day, even less, since the portions are very large and where the menu says for two , then you can safely count on four, mainly for meat dishes. You can eat everywhere, in every town / resort there are many restaurants, cafes with very friendly staff.
Products at the same price as ours, sometimes even cheaper. Water costs: 0.3 l 0.35 euros, a large bottle 0.75 euros.
In Montenegro, everywhere they pay only in euros.
You can buy souvenirs on the central embankment in Budva - there are a lot of them. As a souvenir / gift, you can bring olive oil, which they themselves make (there are many olive groves in Montenegro), local wines, the most popular are Vranac and Krstac.

you can have lunch up to 5 euros per person, if you have a bite, then the embankment is full of all sorts of cafes where you can buy a piece of pizza (1.5 euros) or a hamburger (2 euros), but this hamburger cannot be compared with poppy seeds)) it huge, and you put the vegetables yourself as much as you like))
dinner will cost more, for example, seafood dishes (salad, risotto or spaghetti) cost from 6 to 12 euros in different places, naturally on the waterfront more expensive
fruits, vegetables can be bought at the market, not far from the post office, you can also buy olives there, by the way, if you come for the first time, you can take it with you for a sample! :) we were once so lucky, and not three things;)
if you want meat, then go to Mesara (located on the nuclear path), where any chosen meat will be cooked for you immediately on the grill (prices from 6 euros per 1 kg), it will come out cheaper than in a cafe. a bottle of wine in the store, in my opinion, 3-4 euros.

Yana, if you want to eat in restaurants, I can advise you the Grill cafe on the Mainsky Way. Breakfast for 3 was about 10 euros. (soup 2 or 3, scrambled eggs, salad, homemade lemonade, beer). They cook very tasty food in the Tropico restaurant on the embankment, if you walk near the sea from the Slavic beach hotel towards the old city. I don’t remember the prices. I recommend trying dorado there. You can eat delicious meat in Zlatibor, you need to turn off the Jadransky road to the Kangaroo restaurant (towards the Mainsky road) and after 2 blocks it will be on the left. It's just awesome lamb. Mexican food is not bad at Buster Keaton in the Old City. However, the cocktails are much better there - the restaurant on the square in the old town is good and the atmosphere - in the fresh air, on the house nearby they show silent films with live music (saxophone and guitar) from the projector. Del mare is also quite good (it seems to be the correct name) (with 2 small pools with lobsters and other animals) - you can find it on the waterfront. I recommend trying the mussels in red sauce there - divine.
At prices in restaurants and cafes (which are not fast food), prices are commensurate with Kyiv ones. I recommend taking 700 euros for two (food, excursions, shopping, beach)

Plan on eating 40-50 euros a day, not twenty, as Time2Rest writes. 20 euros is one meal for two, and we ate 3 times, I don’t count fruits from the market.
We adapted to dine in restaurants, where set meals, pieces of pita and pizza got tired every other day. We found three restaurants near the market and had a wonderful lunch on the terrace, set. lunches are offered in 4-5 options.

Yes. I can’t even imagine how it’s possible to eat for 20 euros a day for two ... well, you can’t eat fish, you can’t buy fruits and vegetables ... or drink ...

A lot has already been written about Montenegro, whole stories, look on the Internet! And about the currency on any travel site it is written, but in general the search engine will tell you about this, why pull people? You first read what has already been written at least on this site. For example, look at my notes, and then ask more specific questions!

As for prices, it's all relative. If you live in rented apartments and cook for yourself, then 20 euros a day is enough, and if you eat in restaurants and drink in the evenings, it will be much more expensive. Plus, you need to take into account excursions, taxis, etc. It is only you who can estimate how much you will spend, because you know your expenses better. The cost of food is about the same as in Russia, but for reliability it is better to multiply by 2, excursions are about 30 - 60 euros each, a taxi from city to city costs about 20 - 50 euros.
In general, I would expect about 50 - 100 euros per day for two. So you need to take about 700 euros with you for a week.

For 4 years in a row we have been resting with my husband in Budva. I can say for sure that on average, count on 50 euros per day for two. In the first days there will be a limit, then on the remaining days you will compensate, because. for many things hunting will disappear. It always happens that way. We have such a schedule. This includes expenses in the supermarket, and in a cafe, and in the evening to sit somewhere. Without excursions, taxis and buying souvenirs, of course. This is different for everyone.
