Safes in villas
Guys! Interested in this question. I already understood that in Montenegro it is better to choose a small villa and get to know the country than to take a hotel with an all and sit on a leash. Explain to me one point: I don’t see a safe in the room or even not at the reception in the villas. Of course, I don’t take bags of gold with me there, but at least it’s elementary to keep my passport somewhere, I need tickets somewhere. I can take a small amount, but I can’t carry everything with me to the beach. How to proceed?

If the villa is a mini-hotel, then there will be a reception and a safe.
If the villa is just a villa, then there will be no reception or safe.

I previously sent a request to the owner of the villa about the availability of a safe. The answer came back that the safe is available at the reception and can be used. he kindly agreed to keep our money in his safe. When we handed over the money to the owner for safekeeping, we counted them and wrote down the balance in his presence. When we took the money from the safe, the rest of the money was always counted with the owner. a decent person who did not deceive us and kept our money, absolutely, for free.

Montenegrins are very friendly and always meet the client (within reason) and any villa will create conditions for storing valuables.

You know, local guides told us that crime in the country is ZERO!!!!! I do not think that any villa will be an exception. We put extra money and documents in a suitcase under the lock and forgot about them. It wasn't before :)

many villas have safes, either in the room or at the reception (usually indicated in the description). but where the safe was at the reception, we did not use it, but also put all the valuables in a suitcase with a lock and everything was fine

We didn’t have cards, i.e. cash and documents were all with us. We lived at Villa Lumovich and everything was in a plastic folder in the bedside table.

It's clear. I asked a question on the site, they answered that there was no safe. That's what I just started thinking about. Thank you all for your replies, I will negotiate with the owner.
