Bay of Kotor and canyons. You can go to Dubrovnik.

I highly recommend the excursions "Heart of Montenegro", "Canyons" and "Skadar Lake" After these three excursions, be sure to fall in love with this amazing beautiful country! In more detail about these and other excursions, and what you can visit on your own and for FREE, I wrote here: http://www.alexzimin.com/ekskursii-v-chernogorii.html There is also a schedule of excursions for the 2018 season and other useful information.

I am also for the canyons of the Tara and Moraca rivers, the Bay of Kotor, Skadar Lake, nat. Durmitor park, Ostrog monastery, on Mount Lovcen to the Mausoleum of Prince Peter Negosh, take a taxi or bus to the town of Sveti Stefan on your own, take a walk there, awesome park, cascades from a hill to the sea, the island-hotel is there

All excursions are excellent, Montenegro is a beautiful country, but eat only for a week (I'm sure that whoever visited Montenegro for the first time will go there the second and third). Therefore, I recommend taking two not stressful on the road and one long-distance excursion. The Bay of Kotor is a must, nearby, there is something to see there. Somehow we accidentally got to their local holiday, so after leaving the supermarket we got to the belly feast - there were a lot of seafood, their local porridge with meat (very tasty) - they poured and poured everyone, then they also danced :) each of our visits :) Lakes, canyons, rafting, prison, Dubrovnik, Italy by ferry (earlier, even before biometrics and visa-free travel, you didn’t need a visa for a one-day excursion, now it’s even easier (but in my opinion it’s better to go to Italy through Italy, and not for one day, when there are only 7 nights on vacation.) It’s you who approach the sellers yourself - read the description and decide what you would like. The main thing is not to overdo it, you still can’t embrace everything in one visit.

I agree about the Canyons and Lake Skadar. It's something incredible.
https://livetotravel.ru/chernogoriya-poleznaya-informatsiya-o-strane-dostoprimechatelnosti/ here is the entire (or almost) entire list of excursions in Montenegro. In any case, whatever you choose, I think you'll like it)

Many thanks for the information I will study excursions. I think the Bay of Kotor and canyons. I want to go to Dubrovnik again. And advise what to look at. I don't know about Italy. Who rode the ferry? I think there are few days for everything

You think right :) you can get it, it definitely won’t be superfluous, but upon arrival you will first want to take a walk along the embankment, see the old city, sit and relax on the shore, swim in the sea, and in fact it turns out that there is very little time on excursions, and go on them every day, in my opinion tiring. So it's up to you to figure it out :)

Bay of Kotor, but only in good weather. Canyons are like a sightseeing tour. You can get to the island of Sveti Stefan ONLY on Sunday by 8-00, if you say that you are going to worship in their church ..

I sympathize with you, a week in Montenegro is very, very short, I know for myself it was a week. Such a small country, but very beautiful and interesting. Bay of Kotor, Ostrog Monastery and walks around the old town, listen to a concert sitting on the seashore, and if you walk along the sea, you can go through several towns. Dubrovnik is far away and there is little time left, Bosnia Herzegovina is very far away and not interesting. I envy you well.

I advise you to rent a car and drive around this amazing country.
аватар moy_contakt
Well, I don't know about the car. We somehow took it, but it’s not far and not in the mountains. The roads are not wide everywhere, and given that this is a mountainous area ... You need to be a confident driver.
аватар mishonok
support, many narrow roads and sharp turns to drive yourself
аватар AlexZimin
There is nothing particularly difficult there. If you drive confidently with us, then you can do the same there. But if you are a novice driver, then of course it is better to refrain, because you will be very worried, and you will not get a buzz.

Bay of Kotor (in addition to boat trips, I advise you to visit Perast and Kotor in it), the old town in Budva, Sveti Stefan (outside) and Skadar Lake

I read a lot of reviews about holidays in Montenegro. I decided to go and see for myself. There are already very contradictory reviews - from complete admiration to complete "fairy". Or rather, as myself, I, my three closest friends. Housing was rented in different cities through http://discount-house.ru/montenegro/forpensioners/ Thank you guys - sutomore prices were from 5 to 29 euros for apartments for all per day. Transport - autocart - the guys helped. Having traveled 14 cities and towns in 17 days, I realized that this is mine !! Montenegro is for everyone: for lovers of beach holidays and for extreme sportsmen, surfers, fans of diving and rafting, mountaineering, etc. Here, in olive groves, both lovers of relaxation, and raw foodists, egi find their place. Come check it out. I did it. I can share details.

It is very interesting to go for 1 day to Bosnia, to Mostar. There prices for vegetables and fruits are 2 times cheaper than in Montenegro. It is very interesting, those who will get to the championship or the cup stage in bridge jumping will be lucky. In shops near the bridge you can pay by card. Tour organizer Monteline, they only leave very early at 5.50, but you meet the sunrise along the entire coast.
